What is it?
- Allows you to archive a complete
set of company data before running your year-end,
effectively taking a snapshot of your system.
You can then analyse and report on your archived
data, which is immediately available without having
to restore a backup
What does the feature do?
- You can store an unlimited
number of years' archived data
- Automatically runs (if selected)
at your year-end
- Your data is automatically
backed up (if selected)
- Data is safer as it is archived
as read-only so that your previous years cannot
be changed
- Allows you to analyse data
from previous years, enabling you to run retrospective
reports such as Profit and Loss after having run
your year-end process
- Provides you with immediate
answers to questions like "What did I charge customer
X for product Y last year?"
- Can use Sage MIS to analyse
your previous years' data
